Mr. PRATICK MALLICK
(Renowned Artist)
The artist personifies the traditional way of painting and drawing with the help of Conte, Charcoal, Pencil, Acrylic and other mediums as well, which make him very different and unique. He believes art is neither for the sake of society nor for the sake of art itself. In reality, art is only for the nature’s sake. He was awarded with the Jainul Abedin Award, J.K. Mukherjee Memorial Award and many more for his skills, expertise and tremendous knowledge about the art. Even, three of his masterpeices are collected & displayed by Mr. Suvaprasanna at Arts Acre at Surendra Pal Gallery and Emami Gallery.

Session 1: Introductory class for the Fundamentals of Art and the Art of Drawing
Introduction with the basics of art of drawing.
Introduction of the necessary materials for the classical drawing.
Significance and the differences of art, drawing and painting.
Proforma of drawing a live model.
Session 2: Making blocks, forms and proportion
In-depth analysis of the lines and its aesthetic sense.
Different kind of lines and their uses for academic drawing.
Observing the sense with the knowledge of perspective and its applications.
Mastering the form and proportion of the human figure.
Develop the art of composition and how to communicate through art.
Session 3: Anatomical Drawing with the form and shapes - A deep study
Introduction to the anatomy with the steps of visualisation.
Deep analysis of the different lines and proper applications.
Explore the proportion of the human figure.
Diversity of styles of the classical drawing.
Learn the way of light and shadow and add a depth to your drawing.
Session 4: Deep inside of anatomy and the co-relations with the mediums

Session 8: Conclusion of the study of the human anatomy
Analitical discussion about the artworks done from a live model.
Discussion about the final outcome and the explorable or natural path of your works throughout the whole session.
A Constructive critique of work drawn from a live model.
