Call For Artists
Calling all the artists and photographers (both the professional and amateur) to exhibit your works at the "RESONANCE - Dimensions of Imagination" (an exhibition of Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Digital Art, Tapestry, Fluid & Resin Art) at Indian Council for Cultural Relations, ICCR, Kolkata, from 13th to 15th DECEMBER 2024.
ICCR is the coveted Art Gallery in Kolkata. This gallery holds the best Art Exhibition in Kolkata. Right from the time of its advent it is the cultural hub of Kolkata holding up art and culture in its rightful place. Artists from all around the world are welcome to showcase their talent and make the best of their abilities here, the biggest art gallery in Kolkata.
We organize multiple seasonal exhibitions every year at different galleries and deals with the professional quality of artworks (painting, photography & sculpture). We provide a platform and promote both the professional and the aspiring artists to showcase their talent in front of the art curators, collectors, critics, buyers, agents and to the art lovers as well.
Indian Council for Cultural Relations
They engage, encourage, and educate through participation in Arts and Creativity using Research, Documentation, Conservation, Display and Public engagement as enablers. Acting as a catalyst we facilitate Capacity Building, Artistic enhancement of professionals with special focus on emerging and mid-career artists.
Their primary objective is to grow consciousness for artwork in our community by connecting budding artists with the new buyers. At the same time they are delighted to exhibit works from both the professional and aspiring artists and to understand the level of work.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
Hello, welcome to our upcoming exhibition "RESONANCE - Dimensions of Imagination" (an exhibition of Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Digital Art, Tapestry, Fluid & Resin Art) organised by the Artverse at Indian Council for Cultural Relations, ICCR, Kolkata, from 13th to 15th December 2024.
The theme or the subject for this exhibition is open for every categories. So it's based on an OPEN THEME.
Every participant has to submit minimum 2 artworks/photographs.
Size of the artworks should be less than 24"X30" (inches)
For photography the size should be less than 12"X16" or 12"X18" (Inches)
Photographs taken from any device is accepted including digital camera, film, and mobile phones; however the quality of the photograph should be adequate to print in 12×18 inches.
All images should be in .jpg or .pdf format.
The artworks/photographs must be original work of the artists. Any claim on copyright will be taken seriously and decision of the selection panel will be final.
The last date of submission for selection is 30th November 2024.
After submission, we will forward your artworks to our selection panel and will send you an email after approval of your submissions.
The selection process may take upto 2 to 4 working days.
After Selection, the artists/photographers need to pay the entry fee of INR 1200 per frame (for the frame size within 18"X24") and INR 1500 per frame (for the frame size of 24"X30"). The bank details for the payment will be provided to the participants to their respective contact number or mail id, after the selection.
For Photographer, the printing format should be in matt finish with one inches mounting and wooden/fibre frame. It is good to avoid glass covering.
Physical presence of the participants is not mandatory for all the days. But it will be great to be inside the gallery during the exhibition days.
On the last day of the exhibition, artist or someone on behalf of the participant will have to be there in order to collect the artworks back. (Its mandetory)
After selection and payment, the slots will be confirmed and artists will have to submit their original artworks/photographs (properly framed) on 13th December 2024 at the gallery within 11am.
Artists outside West Bengal have to courier their artwork by 10th December 2024 to the address given below and the courier charges will have to be paid by the participants only.
Artists will have to set the price of their artworks independently. And the authority will not charge any commission on any sale of artworks from the gallery.
