CALL FOR ARTISTS
Calling all the artists and photographers to exhibit your works at the Annual Art Exhibition 2025 (an exhibition of Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Digital Art, Tapestry, Fluid & Resin Art etc) at Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata from 15th to 20th April 2025.
Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata is the coveted Art Gallery in India. The institute holds the best Art Exhibition and is one of the most trusted and reputed Art Gallery in India. Right from the time of its advent it is the cultural hub of art community, holding up art and culture in its rightful place. Artists from all around the world are welcome to showcase their talent and make the best of their abilities here in the one of the biggest art gallery in India.
We organize multiple seasonal exhibitions every year at different galleries and deals with the professional quality of artworks (painting, photography & sculpture). We provide a platform and promote both the professional and the aspiring artists to showcase their talent in front of the art curators, collectors, critics, buyers, agents and to the art lovers as well.
Birla Academy of Art & Culture
Birla Academy of Art and Culture was founded in 1967 with a vision to encourage and foster growth of arts, crafts and cultural activities at the heart of Calcutta. Our founders Late Basant Kumar and Sarala Birla had established this institution envisioning it as a space for learning and scholarship, made accessible to all and with knowledge sharing at its core. In its 57 years our commitment has been to nurture and work with thousands of young emerging artists, researchers, practitioners and artisans by offering them a platform and supporting them in the early stages of their careers. The Academy’s programs focus on research and academia through community centric activities. Preserving our ancient and contemporary arts heritage through our museum, archives and gallery spaces and promotion of art and cultural practices constitute a large part of our diverse programing at the institute. RULES AND REGULATIONS
Hello, Apply for the "ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION" (An Exhibition of Painting, Photography & Sculpture) organised by the Artverse at The Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata, from 15th to 20th April 2025.
CATEGORY: OPEN THEME & OPEN MEDIUM
AGE: 18 - 65 years.
SIZE: Should be less than 24"X30" (inches).
Every participant has to submit MINIMUM 2 ARTWORKS.
All images should be in .jpg or .pdf format.
The artworks must be ORIGINAL ARTWORK of the artists. Any claim on copyright will be taken seriously and decision of the selection panel will be final.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 30th March 2025.
After submission, we will forward your artworks to our selection panel and will send you an email after approval of your submissions.
The selection process may take upto 2 to 3 working days.
After Selection, the artists will have to pay the registration fee:
For the size, less than 18'X24" is INR 1200 per frame.
& For the size, less than 24"X30" is INR 1500 per frame.
The bank details for the payment will be provided to the participants to their respective contact number or mail id, after the selection.
Physical presence of the participants is not mandatory for all the days. But it will be great for them to be present during the exhibition days.
On the last day of the exhibition, artist or someone on behalf of the participant will have to be there in order to collect the artworks back. (Its mandetory)
After selection and payment, the slots will be confirmed and artists will have to submit their original artworks (properly framed) on 14th April 2025 at the gallery within 12:00 - 3:00 pm.
Artists must set the price of their artworks independently. And the authority will not charge any commission on any sale of artworks from the gallery.
Artists outside West Bengal have to courier their artwork by 10th April 2025 to the address given below and the courier charges will have to be paid by the participants only.

Interested artists can submit their artworks for selection to our mail id or you can also send it through WhatsApp in document or JPEG format and also mention the size, medium and surface of the artworks. Also you can submit your artworks by clicking "REGISTER NOW" button, below.
